What Temple you may be thinking?? The the Temple in Jerusalem. No, I'm not talking about past tense, I'm talking about future tense! You may be as surprised as I was, to learn that after 2,000 years, the Jews are preparing to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem for the third time! Can you imagine? They aren't just talking about it, they are actively preparing for it! This would be life size, as in Bible times, and not a walk through museum for the public...but it would be built as an actual place of worship for the modern day Jews once again, with offerings and animal sacrifices as done over two thousand years ago.
So who are the modern day Jews? Who are the Zionist who call themselves Jews? Are they one in the same? What purpose would rebuilding the Temple serve? Do they believe as Christians do? These are a few questions I've had, and the answers I found not only shocked me, but they helped me fit some of the pieces together. As things continue to unfold on the world scene, things are getting clearer as to who the players are, why things are happening the way they are, and how all of this may very well be fulfilling Bible prophecy.
So for starters, it's important to go back for a moment and take a look at the Hebrew scriptures, as they set the stage for the coming Messiah. Despite all the miracles Jesus performed, and the long awaited arrival of the Messiah, many Jews still rejected Jesus. Following the lead of the Scribes and the Pharisees, they not only rejected him, they persecuted him, and crucified him, fulfilling Bible prophecy. Ever since then, the Jews who rejected Jesus have been awaiting the Messiah's arrival.
However, there were many Jews that did accept Jesus as the Messiah, as thousands were baptized in just one day the scriptures show, in Acts 2:41," So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls." And Acts 4:4 says, "But many of those who had heard the message believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand." Those baptized disciples, went out sharing the Gospel with everyone, just as Jesus commanded...thus Christianity spread around the world. After Jesus arrival there were two different types of Jews, the Orthodox Jew who are still waiting for the Messiah and who practice Judaism and the Messianic Jews who accepted Jesus as the Messiah and who practice Christianity.
Now this is where it gets really interesting, and why there is much confusion about the Jewish people. The Zionists ALSO, call themselves Jews....BUT they aren't Hebrew Jews. They're actually semi-nomadic Turkic people from Khazar, who are technically called Russian Khazarian Jews, but most often just call themselves Zionist Jews. Would you be surprised to learn that the Zionist Jewish Elite have their hands in and own almost everything? It's true. From Wallstreet, to the Federal Reserve...and even big Pharma, including Pfizer, Moderne & Johnson & Johnson. The Payseurs, the Rothchild's, the Rockefellers, and the Duponts are at the top of the list. These International Bankers own all of the media in America, including all of the large newspapers, they even own Hollywood. They basically run this country and many others. In fact, I was shocked to learn that the Rothchild's who are also Zionists are the very founders of the State of Israel in 1948. Even more shocking, is the fact that Zionists are actually a political movement and have been behind communism and socialism for centuries. They are also behind Globalism and the New World Order. Now for those of you who have already discovered this, you will know that Zionists go hand in hand with the Illuminati. That in itself is a whole other topic, but I will save that for another day. Is your head swimming yet? Hang on it gets even more interesting.
When I learned this I couldn't help but think of Mel Gibson. Remember when he made the seemingly anti-Semetic comment while drunk stating, "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world....Please know in my heart I am not anti-Semite. I am not a bigot. Hatred of any kind goes against my faith...." He was most likely referring to the Zionist "Jews", not the true Jews. Remember he's Catholic, and he also director of the incredible movie, the Passion of the Christ. At the time I didn't understand his rant... but now that I understand what he most likely was referring to. He was also working in Hollywood, with those Zionist "Jews". His comments definitely make a lot more sense to me now.
Up until this last year, I had only heard bits and pieces about the Jews desire to build a third Temple in Jerusalem. I didn't really give much attention to it to be honest. However, I began to take an interest when I learned that not only are they just talking about rebuilding the Temple, they have already created the furnishings, the instruments, and the vessels for Temple worship, which are on full display at the Treasures of the Temple exhibition, in Jerusalem. These items on are not replicas, they have been created for the use in the Third Temple, and are made out of pure gold, silver, copper and other authentic materials. Included in the items made, are priestly garments to be worn by the Levites just as in Bible times, doing the Temple services. In fact, over 500 young Jewish men descended from the tribe of Levi, have already been trained as Temple Priests in order to fulfill duties of worship and sacrifice in the new Temple.
For those unfamiliar with the Hebrew scriptures, which is the first half of the Bible, the Jews, who were God's chosen people, had built a Temple in order for God to dwell among them two other times throughout biblical history. The Temple was God's earthly home and not only did his Spirit reside there, he commanded animal sacrifices to be given there, to foreshadow the coming Messiah and as a reminder to the people of their need for atonement. When Christ Jesus came to earth and gave his life, as a sacrifice for all mankind, no longer was it necessary for animal sacrifices to be given because Christ paid the price for man's sins, once for all time. The first Temple was built in 957 BCE under King Solomon's reign. It stood for 400 years before it was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586/587 BCE. Then it was rebuilt in 349 BCE and stood for 420 years, and as Jesus predicted, just 70 years later was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. Since then, they have never rebuilt the Temple. So you can see how after all this time, 2000 years later, the rebuilding of the Temple would be quite significant. Keep in mind, the Orthodox Jews are still waiting for the Messiah to arrive for the first time. So if they build the Temple, their plan is to be sacrificing animals, offering grain offerings with olive oil as in Bible times.
The Jewish people also believe that the exiled Jews would return to Israel as stated in Isaiah 43:5-6, "Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, And gather you from the west. I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' And to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth...".
Another thing that the Jews are actively doing to prepare for the Temple, is that they are trying to breed a perfect red heifer. The Raise a Red Heifer program was instituted a few years ago by the Temple Institute, and they have been trying to breed a unblemished perfectly red cow. Seems rather strange to us in modern times, but in biblical times, God commanded that a red heifer, unblemished and without defect were to be used in the purification from sin. So to follow the Hebrew scriptures, they are trying to raise the perfect red heifer.
In addition, olive oil is being produced the way they made it in biblical times, by smashing the olives with hammers in order to release the olive oil. Those that are producing the olive oil are hoping to have the opportunity to be first to use it to create a sacrificial meal offering to God, at the Temple when it's built. They plan to use this olive oil as was done in bible times, to use on a sacrificial meal to God, as well as to burn it as part of the ritual offering to him.
I found it amazing the length to which the Jews are going to prepare for this event. The whole concept is pretty incredible when you stop and think of it. If you are a believer, then most likely you know of the term the Anti-Christ. He is also referred to as the man of lawlessness. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 says, " Now we ask you, brother and sisters, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit, or a message, or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has already come. No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostacy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God displaying himself as being God."
2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 says, "that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they may all be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness."
So according to these scriptures, the Anti-Christ is not just a rebellious spirit or attitude, but is a actual person, who will arise, and deceive many, and he will claim to be God, setting himself in the Temple of God. In order for that to happen, there has to be a Temple. Honestly, this makes sense since Satan is a master deceiver, and counterfeit. He is also a copycat, so it stands to reason he would copy Jesus in sending his false Messiah, claiming to be God. The Jews are expecting a Messiah. The Anti-Christ will be the false Messiah...referred to as the man of lawlessness. Also, there is a scripture about fake Jews being from the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 3:9 says, "Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews, and are not, but lie-I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that I have loved you." When I came across this scripture after learning the Zionists are fake Jews and Zionists are associated with the Illuminati, which is satanic...it formed a clear picture who this scripture was identifying as fake Jews. It also describes another group that God has loved...which would be the true Jews...his chosen people.
At this point its important to remember that God's covenant with Abraham was a lasting forever covenant. The Gentiles, or Christians that are not of Jewish decent, have been grafted in as God's adapted children, as brought out in Ephesians 1:5, "He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Christ Jesus to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will..." Also, Romans 11:17-24 says, "But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them..." Interestingly enough, verse 23 points out, "And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again...", this was clearly referring to the Jews who had rejected Christ Jesus. If they became believers, after rejecting Christ, they could once again, be grafted back in to the vine. But the scriptures repeatedly throughout the entire bible, show that the covenant with the Jews was never broken. It was because of God's faithfulness and unfailing love for Abraham, whom God referred to as his friend, that he kept his covenant with him. Romans 11:1-6 says, "I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? Far from it! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew......In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice." Its important to note that the Apostle Paul wrote Romans, and so this scripture was written after Christ's crucifixion.
So by now you may be asking, why? Why would both the Jews and the Christians support the building of a Third Temple? Well, it would be for two completely different reasons. Orthodox Jews believe the building of the Third Temple would herald in the Jewish Messiah, but for the Messianic Christian Jews who believe that Christ Jesus was the Messiah, the building of the Third Temple is linked to Judgement day and Jesus return. There are numerous scriptures that seem to support the belief that a Third Temple would be built. Daniel 9:24-27, and Daniel 12:7 indicate that the Antichrist would rule for 7 years, and at 1260 days into his rule, or 3-1/2 years, the Antichrist would stop the sacrifices, and tribulation would begin. Also in Revelation 11:1-2, John is told to measure the Temple.
So it is definitely possible that a Third Temple in Jerusalem will indeed be built. Only time will tell. Before I researched this topic I didn't ever think that was a possibility. However, after examining the scriptures, coupled with the very real preparations that are being made, it may very well be part of God's greater plan. Whatever way it goes, even though times seem tough and uncertain, we can be assured that God has his children under his wings of protection. Psamls 91:4, " He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may take refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall." I'm still learning and there is much more to learn on this subject, but it certainly is interesting, and I wanted to share with you what I have found. There is no doubt we are living in exciting biblical times.
